Baptists for Life of Wisconsin (BFLW) is a soul winning, pro-life organization made up of Bible-Believing, fundamental separatist Baptist churches and individuals. Our ministry was founded in 1990 as a service and resource ministry of Fundamental Baptist Churches that are burdened to become active in the pro-life movement. Our program consists of organizing, motivating, and educating local Baptist churches and individual members so that they may help us minister to women who have had or may be considering an abortion. Another goal is to prevent infanticide. We also seek to minister to other vulnerable people, such as the terminally ill and the handicapped.
VCY America seeks to advance the Gospel thru every legitimate means. The history of VCY has been described as God’s Continuing Miracle (read about it in WND.com). Among our ministries, most people are familiar with our broadcast outreaches. At the urging of three teenagers, a 30 minute radio program in 1961 under the direction of Vic Eliason grew into a 24/7 radio station, WVCY-FM. Today, under Executive Director Jim Schneider, the VCY America Radio Network features solid Biblical teaching programs, live call-in programs on issues of concern to the Christian community, news and commentary, children’s programs, and conservative, uplifting Christian music. There are currently 25 “full power” VCY-owned stations across the Midwest, and 15 “low power” translators. Many other “affiliate” stations carry VCY programming as well. WVCY-TV is a 24/7 television station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Similar to the radio network, it features Biblical teaching, live-call in programs, news and commentary, children’s programs, and music programming.
Nestled among the pines in central Wisconsin are 230 acres of pristine forest land, prairie fields, wildlife and a private fishing lake. For 52 years God has blessed us with a beautiful camp to be used in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others. Hundreds of people each year find at Camp Fairwood a refuge from the storms of life. Our mission is to provide an excellent Christian camping experience in which campers may come to know Christ as Savior and grow in Him through God’s Word and a godly staff. We strive to provide a loving Camp that is Christ-centered, Action-packed with Activities, filled with Meaningful Moments in a Pleasant and Peaceful setting. Camp Fairwood is a year-round ministry with seven weeks of summer camp for youth and families and about 38 retreats throughout the year. There are two full-time employees of the Camp, the director and maintenance manager. There are also two part-time employees, the office assistant and the head cook. During the summer we hire about 40-45 staff to run our program.
The mission of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, as a fundamental Baptist institution of Christian higher education, is to prepare vocational Christian workers and ministry leaders for local churches throughout the world. Faith Baptist Bible College provides an intensive Biblical, vocational, and general education on the college level with the goal of preparing students to minister effectively in Christian service through leadership positions in and through fundamental Baptist churches and other organizations of like convictions. Faith Baptist Theological Seminary provides an advanced Biblical, theological, and ministerial education at the graduate level with the goal of preparing Bible expositors to serve effectively in Christian ministry through leadership positions within Baptist fundamentalism.
The Wisconsin Association of Regular Baptist Churches (WARBC) exists to bring glory to God through the promotion of Biblical doctrine and practice. We truly believe that together we can do more for the glory of God. To that end, we seek to provide the following for our churches: Prayer & Encouragement, Conferences & Camps, Leadership Training, and Growth within the Fellowship. This association is made up of autonomous, Baptist churches who hold to the fundamental doctrines of Scripture while lovingly allowing for diversity in ministry practice. We are dedicated to guarding the never-changing truth of Biblical doctrine while ministering in a changing culture and to the needs of Wisconsin.
When doctrinally sound, like-minded churches partner, they can strengthen their collective voice for Truth, build stronger churches, evangelize globally, and encourage one another in the work of the ministry. The Regular Baptist Ministry Resource team provides churches with services and the ministry network they need to pursue the Great Commission.
